Terms of Use
General terms governing access to and use of the UFRA website.
Purpose
These general terms of use (hereinafter the "Terms") define the rules governing access to and use of the website https://ufra-education.com, published by Université Française d'Abidjan (UFRA).
Accessing and using the website constitutes full and unreserved acceptance of these Terms. If you do not accept these Terms, please do not use this website.
Access to the Website
The website https://ufra-education.com is accessible free of charge to any user with an internet connection. All costs related to accessing the website (computer equipment, internet connection, etc.) are the responsibility of the user.
UFRA reserves the right to suspend, modify or interrupt access to the website, in whole or in part, at any time and without prior notice, in particular for maintenance or update purposes. UFRA shall not be held liable for the consequences of such interruptions.
Intellectual Property
All content on the website https://ufra-education.com — text, images, photographs, logos, videos, graphic elements, structure and layout — is protected by intellectual property law and is the exclusive property of Université Française d'Abidjan, unless otherwise stated.
Any reproduction, representation, extraction, distribution or use of the website's content, in whole or in part, for commercial purposes or otherwise, without the prior written authorization of UFRA, is strictly prohibited.
Personal use of the website's content is permitted, provided that its content is not altered and the source is cited. Any citation must credit Université Française d'Abidjan as the author.
Hyperlinks
The website https://ufra-education.com may contain hyperlinks to third-party websites. These links are provided for informational purposes and shall not incur the liability of UFRA.
UFRA exercises no control over the content of these external websites and disclaims all liability for their content, operation or privacy policy. Users access these third-party websites at their own risk.
Liability
The website https://ufra-education.com is provided "as is", without any warranty as to its availability, operation or the accuracy of the information it contains. UFRA strives to keep the information accurate and up to date but cannot guarantee the absence of errors or omissions.
The data entered into the website forms (contact, application) is transmitted to UFRA and recorded in its internal admissions management system. The conditions of this processing are described in the privacy policy.
UFRA shall not be held liable for any direct or indirect damages resulting from access to the website, use of the information it contains, or the inability to access it.
Messaging Services
UFRA provides a WhatsApp Business number as well as Messenger and Instagram accounts allowing you to communicate with its teams about programmes, admission requirements and campus life.
These channels are intended for information requests and applicant support. They do not constitute an emergency service and do not guarantee any specific response time. For any official procedure, the institutional email address remains the reference channel.
Users undertake not to send unlawful, abusive or promotional content through these channels. UFRA reserves the right to end any exchange that breaches this rule. Message delivery depends on the platform concerned and on its own terms of use, over which UFRA has no control.
Conversational Assistant
Messages received on these channels may give rise to an initial reply written by an automated conversational assistant, before an adviser takes over.
The assistant's replies are provided for information purposes and do not constitute a commitment by UFRA. Where a reply from the assistant differs from the information published on the website or communicated by the admissions department, the latter prevails. No admission decision and no pricing results from automated processing.
You may at any time ask to communicate with a person, simply by saying so in the conversation.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These terms of use are governed by Ivorian law.
In the event of a dispute concerning the interpretation or performance of these Terms, and failing an amicable resolution, the competent courts of Abidjan shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
